Adelaide, South Australia has been ranked as 8th most livable of 140 cities surveyed by The Economist Intelligence Unit
The unit’s Livability and ranking overview, part of the Worldwide Cost of Living Survey, quantifies the challenges that might be presented to an individual’s lifestyle in 140 cities worldwide.
Jon Copestake, editor of the 2011 report, said in a statement: “Mid-sized cities in developed countries with relatively low population densities tend to score well by having all the cultural and infrastructural benefits on offer with fewer problems related to crime or congestion”
Adelaide’s livability combines with a currently slow property market and Australia’s lowest mainland capital median prices to ensure it’s a great place to buy property.
