As we work through our due diligence process on your intended property, we will make note of anything that may be of concern to you. No two properties are the same, so it requires some dynamic thinking and investigation based on your specific needs and the property you are looking to buy.
Once we’ve finished, we’ll give you a verbal summary on the property, then email you a list of all the potential issues we’ve uncovered.
During the verbal run down, we’ll also give you our recommendation on whether we believe the property is going to work for you. If there are potential hidden costs with the property, we can discuss how you might use these as bargaining tools to pay less for it.
If you’re interstate, we’ll also provide walkthrough videos of the house.
These videos include the less desirable aspects of the property, including things like the hot water service, cracks in the paint, crooked doors, noisy neighbours next door and anything else the seller & agent might prefer you not to know about.
The property Due Diligence service takes between 1 – 4 days from commencement to completion. The fee is $1320. The service can be bundled with our Negotiation service and our Follow Through service at a package price.
