Everywhere, real estate agents are telling me ‘the property market is slow’.
Some agents tell me they don’t want any more listings, because they cannot sell the stock they have. Traffic at Open Inspections is down to zero in some cases.
These are classic symptoms of a “buyers’ market.” So for those with plans to buy property, now might be the time!
Do your plans include buying a property in Adelaide? If so, you should be out hunting right now for something that fits your requirements. Don’t be in a hurry, look carefully, and ask the agent lots of questions, including this catch-all question: “Is there anything else I should know about this property, before I make an offer?”
Now is also the time to be asking yourself not ‘how much do they want? but ‘how much is it worth to me?’
